Psychedelic-Assisted Comparisons

Comparing MDMA-assisted therapy, psilocybin-assisted therapy, KAP, ketamine-assisted EMDR and harm-reduction models.

Psychedelic-assisted work is the newest lineage here and the one where the distance between what has been shown and what is being claimed is largest. The comparisons matter for an unusually practical reason: the drug is not the treatment. What differs between these approaches is the psychotherapy wrapped around the medicine — how much preparation, what the therapist does during a session, whether integration is structured or left to the client, and whether the model has been tested at all or only described.

These pages keep the drug and the therapy separate, name which trials belong to which protocol, and flag the difference between peer-reviewed results and figures announced by press release. Safety and contraindication material is treated as primary rather than as a footnote.
